Just had a fantastic experience seated at 2 of the 6 available Tasting Course seats that overlook the open kitchen. Chef/Owner Robert Harris brought each dish over and explained the ingredients, inspiration, etc. We enjoyed each dish thoroughly but two stars of the menu my wife and I both agreed on were the Roasted Chestnuts over Pimento cheese, and the Scallop Crudo. The flavor and texture combinations served up during each course displayed how much attention to detail and the chef has taken on each dish. We did not leave hungry like some fancy tasting menus. I'd recommend the Tasting Course to anyone looking for a unique dining experience that delivers in multiples levels. And the menu rotates often so if you like what you see, book soon!

After a day of strolling in Cambridge, I chose a fusion restaurant near Harvard with my friend. It has a 4.8 rating on Google maps. The menu is updated continuously. Their dishes are very special, so we ordered more starters to try. The three of us had the taste of omakase and none of the dishes were bad 1 I am lactose intolerant and swallowed lactase for this cheese ball. The sweet and sour rhubarb jam mixed with soft and tender milk fragrance, paired with crispy bagel chips, friends who like cheese should not miss it! 2 This method is also very special. It looks like a piece of stinky tofu on the outside. The surface is roasted and crispy, and the inside is loose beef ribs. It is paired with refreshing green salsa, which is not so greasy. The red crispy slices are dried carrots, which have a rich taste. We didn't taste the carrot flavor at first and thought it was dried sweet potato. After looking at the menu, we found out that it was carrot slices, so uu who doesn't like carrots doesn't need to worry! 3 The fried pork ribs are coated with sweet sauce. The meat is not too rotten and just falls off the bones. It feels a bit like Korean pork ribs! 4 Raw salmon sashimi salad, with avocado and dried apples, also has a good taste 5 Main course - - Flounder, very fresh, no fishy smell, and the processing method is also very straightforward, just pan-fried. But the mashed potatoes underneath were really amazing... It's called Duke's Mashed Potatoes, crispy on the outside, and a mixture of potatoes and butter on the inside, with a strong milky flavor, which was unexpected... 6 Main Course - This is not ordinary straight pasta, it's a mixture of beef and pork mince, with bread crumbs and ricotta cheese, full of milky flavor but not greasy, the pasta is very chewy, again, once again, the taste is played to the extreme This restaurant is really good at playing with taste, very rich, every dish brings surprises and deliciousness. Envy the elites of Harvard!

To start, the service was great, no notes there. The atmosphere was lively inside, but not too loud. I really enjoyed the first thing to come out, the acorn squash salad, with my favorite part being the brussel sprouts. The moules frites wasn't on the online menu, but we ordered it and it was a more generous portion than expected! Super tasty, but the fries might get a bit soggy at the bottom. Overall, still great and I'd get it again for sure. For the main, I got the miso-braised cabbage. Again, it was really good and it was kind of fun to eat the cabbage layer-by-layer. In all, there are several $$$+ options on the same block as Season to Taste, and this place is as good as any of the others. It's not in my top spot, but I would definitely come back again to try their other offerings!

I originally got introduced to season to taste during Covid. When no one could go out to eat and everyone was ordering in. We ordered a few times from season to taste and the food was to die for! I was always impressed with how good it was even just as take out. I went for the first time in person recently and was just as blown away. The food was incredible. Our server was attentive and funny. We got drinks quickly and were steered in all the right directions for menu options. This place is also trendy and upscale a great date night spot. Would also be fun to hang out at the bar and just grab a few drinks.

I was a bit skeptical to try out this place, as the menu had limited vegetarian options. But to my surprise, the small plates I tried were quite good. - Cheese and Biscuit: this is delicious. Only one biscuit comes per order. And it comes with butter and pickle. Loved it. - Squash Salad: very good. Loved the taste of squash in this salad. - Kale Caesar: this is incredible. I loved the salad. The croutons taste different, and adds to the flavor of the salad. - Gnocchi: this was so good. It's a different kind of pasta that I had never had before. I was so full with these small plates, that I didn't have the space for dessert or entrees. Even though the menu doesn't look as vegetarian friendly, there are enough options if you happen to be there.

Had the 6 course chef tasting menu for $80 and really enjoyed the food and experience here! None of the dishes were life changing by any means but everything was purely delicious! It was as if every individual ingredient was a star on its own, but then VERY complementary when combined together, and sourced directly from the farm the very same day. There was also not a single ingredient that had overshadowed another. In my opinion, this is NOT easy to do at all and the chef (Chef Robert) did a really excellent job with this! My personal favorite course of the night was their fried whole belly clams served on a buttery pastry tart shell with fresh corn kernels, shishito peppers, and jalepeno aioli. This was an awesome combination of flavors and textures and was SOOO comforting and addicting. One of my favorite meals that i've had so far this year! Left here very happy and with a smile on my face :)

My husband and I went out to dinner at season to taste on Mass Avenue in Cambridge for our 19th anniversary in September. It is a beautiful and intimate space with an open kitchen. The service is casual and friendly, but very attentive. The food was phenomenal and fresh using local ingredients that are in season . There was so much on the menu we wanted to eat that we ended up ordering way too much and had to take some home. Oops! There are two ways to eat here. You can order a small plate as an appetizer and then an entrée. Or you can eat tapas style where you order two or three plates per person. The cocktail list was very inspired and had many interesting offerings. This is a great restaurant for a special occasion or just for a casual but higher end dinner. Be aware that parking is sparse and you should probably make a reservation, especially if you are going on a weekend.

Excellent spot near Porter Square. I must say the food options in this area has really taken off. As a native to NY, I have high expectations and Season to Taste delivered. Favorites included the fried oysters (4 each order), half chicken (the crisp and flavor were fantastic!), and the mushroom app.

Had the 5 course chef's table for $75. I found it to be worth it for sure. Nice view of the kitchen. Service was brisk. Good job at explaining Amouch bouche Oysters with some foamed sauce. 4/5 simple and tasty. The oyster was fresh and had been cleaned properly 1st Asparagus 4/5 blistered and seared asparagus with asparagus puree and bearnaise sauce. Again, Simple but fresh and tasty. 2nd Spring dug parsnip bisque 5/5. Creamy and full of flavor. Came with lobster meat that was cooked perfectly and was very fresh tasting 3rd Benton's ham wrapped scallop 5/5 scallops were pretty cooked and seared and were fresh. Wrapped in a very tasty savory ham. More like prosciutto. A touch of molasses to add sweetness. 4th Gas station quail. 4/5 Crispy skin. Awesome smokey spicy honey glaze. Yummy sweet potato puree. The meat was tender. 5th Cream brule 4/5 - with maple and pear on top. Classic cream brule with a little twist. This was a nice way to end the evening Overall very good. $75 to sit at a chef's table and a satisfying 5 course meal. Also for non drinkers pretty decent mocktail list. Highly recommend. Will return for the a la carte menu and when the tasting menu changes.
